Dusty papyrus and
Ancient hieroglyphics
Kept in three chambers
Of the heart
A pilgrimage
To pyramids
And catacombs
The night embalmed
Dark corners and
Crowded bazaars
Music and dance
An urn full
Primeval symbols
And spirits
And fragrance
To preserve.
